I'm almost done with photography 102 with Nicole. I have to do a self portrait with and without myself in the photography. Interesting. We'll see what happens. It's consumed a lot of my time to perfect table top and lighting techniques. I've mastered manual settings to achieve desired effects though. Money well spent.
Insurance finally paid out the robbery claim. I'm trying to buy all my equipment now plus some. It wouldn't be so difficult if I had a job.
Anyways, I have 3 more classes I've been neglecting. Here are two layouts I did yesterday morning for Scrapbooking with Fabric @ Debbie Hodge. I used Prima (of course), Heidi Grace fabric, Pellon, Scenic Route, Prisma color markers, CTMH white ink.

Mix and Match layout
I am horrible at mixing and matching papers and manufacturers. I don't think it's a matter of patterns but a need to feel a little OCD about it. The prompt for Day 19 of LOAD was to create a list of what you wouldn't do. Well, I don't do lists for one. Seriously it gets me nowhere.
As I was cleaning up my stuff yesterday and feeling a bit behind on the layouts (it is Day 21 you know) I went and grabbed a bunch of stuff that was all the same color. Scenic Route was all about left overs from last year's Memory Works Retreat. I got a ton of stuff there. In the end I used. . .
Sandy Lion paper, Scenic Route diecuts, CTMH, bling, popsicle sticks, SEI stickers, DCWV, Fiskars chipboard, and Oriental Trading chipboard. So this lead me to my "I won't. . . " topic for the day.

I don't make resolutions, but this new year. . . .
I don't make resolutions which means I don't break them either. Just like there's no use in losing weight until (if I can squeeze another kid out). Ok, so if you know me you know I never squeezed one out to begin with since I had a c-section. But you get my point.
I am attempting to make a resolution of sort. . . let's call it a commitment instead. I am going to try to use up my scrapbooking supplies. It's like the accounting method, first in -first out.. You'll see my double page layout I did last night. . . it's the same Creative Imaginations paper I used for our 2006 Christmas cards. That year we went to Hawaii and I put Riley into a snow globe with sand. I put so much work into our cards except for this year. Guess things are changing.
The other layout Fancy Pants Kewl line. I don't even know when that came out. . .could it have been last year? I used gold and red/purple leaf on the layout as well as CTMH flowers. And as infatuated as I am with stamps (but never use them). . . I used them on this layout with Distress Inks.
I hope you all have a creative and prosperous New Year. I'm off to try to figure out something else to make so I don't have to move so much of my supplies downstairs to my new scrapbook room.
