I'm sure not a vintage style anything girl. But all of the sudden, I've had a craving for vintage papers. A few months ago I had won a Sassafras Lass pack from the company for the blinkie on my blog. I finally got around to pulling it out to create this layout.

Not a vintage girl

Tweetie Pie
Since I'm on a roll with these shaped layouts, here's one that hides the photo. I used my trusty Pazzles of course to develop a bird. It was taken after a card I came up with a few years ago. Thought it would make an interesting layout. My vintage Cosmo Cricket paper. . .Jitterbug. And distress stickles, Making Memories snaps, Fancy Pants stamps.

LOAD layouts
Here's three layouts I did to try to get caught up for Layout a Day. . .
So the prompt for this digital layout was to scrapbook an important moment. It's of Riley playing with her two favorite trouble makers. I used a kit from SweetShoppeDesigns.com and components of a kit from ScrapbookGraphics.com.
This next layout was done off of two drawings Riley did about two weeks ago. She drew daddy and I. All I can say is that at least I was smiling! Oh and had hair. The prompt was to use alphabets in the background. DCWV stack and American Crafts white marker. I probably should have used a medium point. The final layout was to tell a secret. Honestly it's not a secret because if asked I will spill the beans. Dieting is highly over rated. And if you just learn to bake the buttery goodness like I do. . . you'll make everyone else bigger so you'll automatically look smaller. No dieting! K & Company, Making Memories, Pazzles, CTMH and dots from SweetShoppeDesigns (digi).

Load day 26
We're almost done with LOAD. Here's my day 26 layout which had a 30 minute time requirement. As you may know, I never plan anything out. Seriously it has been a major flaw but I save some of the layouts by giving them to Riley to finish scrapping. Anyways, I used Basic Grey Bittersweet and Making Memories ribbon and pins. Oh a Prima flower and my Pazzles to cut the mat.

I have been scrapping. . .really. Well kind of. . . .
Haha. . . I know it seems like I haven't done much and was on a roll there for a while. I actually have some minis I did but never finished with pictures. This one I'm posting today (just because I have to run to pick up Riley from school in a few minutes) was a wedding album. For some reason Slide won't ever upload all my images. So here's the cover. The second page was a 2" mini profile canvas. And one thing I like is I used Rustoleum Frosted Glass spray to create sheer designs on the clear pages. One of the pages also is engraved using my Pazzles. Oh and one of my favorite things is to stamp with a glue pad, then put gold foil on top and then stamp again with staz on. Used Basic Grey Bittersweet paper, Making Memories ribbons, Tinkering Ink butterfly Peekaboo album, Clear Scraps scallop album and Prima build a page elements. Enjoy.
