White on white

I probably have never done a monochromatic layout but here is my take on the pre-class assignment for Dimensional Details @ Big Picture Scrapbooking which is starting on April 1. I basically took the class oath and printed it across a sheet of horribly gray-ish white cardstock that comes with the sheet protectors. Added the distressed background. Then I cut the branch using the Pazzles. Of course there are white Prima flowers and bling. I think with all of the prompts from the Something from Almost Nothing class, bling has missed me! It's all layered on top of a heart doily I picked up before Valentine's day.

Me: the abridged version

I decided at the last minute to take Cathy Zielske's Me: the Abridge Version at Big Picture. I know I'm a procrastinator and should have had two weeks for the prework. So here's the start of my venture. The deck is to write down the words or series of words that start with certain letters of the alphabet. We'll see what I come up with because a lot of my words are not appropriate for scrapbooking.

Challenges of Me

So here I go again with another class. . . @ Big Picture. I'm getting close to a week behind now in all my running around trying to keep Riley and the boys (nephews) busy. I did manage to finish the first section page and the cover of the album. I was assigned the 6x12 page size but since I already had the American Crafts album I went to do the 8" format. This class is about using my stash so here we go! I'll try to get the tutorial up soon on coloring glitter and our finished fairy wings.
